The large garden and facilities added to the overall pleasant experience, making it a valuable stay with two nearby pubs in the quiet village.
The hotel is perfectly located near Lydford village & gorge, on the edge of Dartmoor, ideal for cycling and walking with breathtaking views of the hills. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented, offering coffee/tea facilities with the convenience of fresh milk. The service is welcoming, and the dining experience is exceptional with delicious, freshly cooked meals made to order. However, some booking issues slightly affected the location convenience. Overall, a charming place with great facilities and enchanting surroundings.
